Where do i start? Beef noodle soup was one of the best i have ever had. Dumpling was out of this world. Fried chicken was so good my picky 4 year old finished the whole thing(she never does). Ladies at the cashier were amazing. So sweet and nice. I would give this place 10 star if i could. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

If you're looking for a tasty, no fuss, simple meal of comfort carbs (noodles and dumplings) this is the place. We come here often. This place was packed with dine-in and carry-out patrons during our recent Sunday visit for dinner. We ordered our favorites- snow cabbage with pork soup noodles (photo), beef tendon soup noodles, and pan-fried dumplings along with two side dishes, knotted seaweed and pork with pickled mustard tuber (see photos). Service is efficient and fast and prices are reasonable. If you want frozen dumplings to eat in the comfort of your home, they have those to buy, too. Hope you will check this place out and maybe it will become one of your favorites.

We heard from friends that this place has really good noodle soups so we decided to check it out. It did hit the spot and it also reminds me of eating at home. The soup was fresh and filling all for a very good price. 10 dollars a bowl, What?!! That was kind of a shock to me especially for the amount and size. I'll def be back just because of that. Very good spot for warming soups on a cold day.

Surprisingly good Cantonese style noodle house. While they have a few different options, I tried the signature spicy beef noodle. You order and pay at the counter, get a table number and they bring the food out. The meats are braised to perfection and they give you a good amount and proportionate to the noodles. The pickled cabbage they put in is amazing too. Overall, great experience and would love to try out their other signature dishes next time

It’s not bad, it’s just ok. Used to come here all the time to buy their steamed buns which are nice Today I came for a lunch and decided to try their sesame noodles and sour spicy soup Sour spicy soup: disappointing, not sour not spicy, blobs of starch in the soup Sesame noodle: ok but it got too much for me in the end I couldn’t finish it, tried changing up the flavor with the table spicy oil, but I kept adding more with no flavor change at all, then I tried the spicy oil by itself and realized it’s also not spicy I don’t believe my spice tolerance has increased this much but honestly the food was just too. Eh. At least the portions are a lot for ~10$

What can I say but WOW! I'm so glad I checked this place out. This little mom n pop shop is COOKING! It is a counter service style where you order everything at the counter and the nice, polite lady hands you a number and you seat yourself. You go grab your utensils and bring them to your table and a different sweet lady will bring the food out to you. The beef tendon soup... incredibly flavorful, rich, and deep. It comes out piping hot. The tendon chunks were large and melty tender. The noodles have a slight bounce and chew and they have this subtle wheat flavor. You can tell they are quality noodles. The soup is simply but perfectly dressed with scallions, bok choy, and some pickled greens which give a nice subtle sour note. If I had one critique it is minor, but I wish the bok choy was a little more cooked but it certainly wasn't a deal breaker. The portion size was just right. Very filling, but not too gluttonous. I absolutely loved this soup, so on the way out I ordered another to-go! In addition, I tried the pig ears in the self-serve fridge... So tender, flavorful, and not chewy at all. Very nice! I also got the spicy tripe from said fridge and it was equally as good, flavorful, slightly spicy, and so tender. Purchase those with your noodles and you can eat them together. Chef's kiss Needless to say, this will be a staple noodle soup spot for me and I highly recommend it! Edit: oh neat I was the 1000th reviewer

San Dong remains a Houston staple that never misses! My usual go-to is their incredible beef noodle soup, but this time I switched it up for the pork chop rice plate at an amazing $9.99. It was a fantastic choice—perfectly seasoned, tender pork paired with fluffy rice that’s just as satisfying as my usual. The pan fried dumplings were, as always, a highlight, with their crispy exterior and juicy, savory filling. The vibe is cozy, the service is warm, and the food is consistently outstanding. San Dong is a must-visit gem in Houston!

Good and simple Taiwanese dishes. Easy counter service, inexpensive, pictures on the menu, and many boxed goods ready for takeaway. I enjoyed my Rice with Chicken Cutlet and their pan fried dumplings are also delicious.
